Northern Ontario Board Game company Quinn & Sherry. Inc., renowned for their hit “The Game of THINGS…!” is set to launch their latest creation, TRIPPED. This game is a dynamic, fast-paced race across North America where you leave your hometown and get to six other cities and back home again before anyone else. But watch your step because at some point you’re going to get tripped.

It’s the name of the game.

Here’s the dilemma. With design almost complete, the creators of TRIPPED have realized there’s only room for one “Near North” city on the game’s board. The choice? Sudbury vs. North Bay. Recognizing the spirited rivalry between these two cities, Quinn & Sherry. Inc. has decided to let the citizens decide.

Starting May 2nd, 2024, residents can cast their votes for Sudbury or North Bay, with each vote costing $1. The best part? 100% of the proceeds will go to local charities personally selected by the respective Mayors of Sudbury and North Bay, Paul Lefebvre and Peter Chirico.

The excitement doesn’t stop there. Mayor Lefebvre and Mayor Chirico are set to face off in a head-to-head game of TRIPPED during the Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities in Sudbury on May 7th. The stakes are high, with the winning mayor receiving a coveted “20 vote” head start in the contest.

To participate in the vote and follow the standings, the public can visit ‘IgotTripped.com.” Additionally, voters will receive a 20% discount off the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) along with an exclusive “I Got TRIPPED First!” t-shirt if they choose to pre-order a copy of Tripped.

Quinn & Sherry. Inc invites all residents of Northern Ontario and beyond to join in the fun, support local charities, and determine which city will come out on top in TRIPPED.
